Turquoise and Black

I dreamed I made a cape,
In soft, light-weight, black wool.

On the neck in the front was a semi-circle,

Of turquoise and black printed material -

In a wandering, curved pattern.

Going from shoulder to shoulder,

On the back, was a Merlin-like hood,

Folded flat to the back and buttoned to the shoulders.

There was a long pleat down the back of the cape

Which ended at the knee.

It was lined with turquoise silk.

On the silk were three, large spirals,

(In a not-to-be-determined material)
That seemed to be independent of the cape,
In its physicality.

I designed the turquoise and black print,

Onto adjustable-heeled, black boots that now

Looked like they had spats.

Then, I walked in and took up residence.
